Mkalimu Travel was founded by a group of friends from Tanzania and Canada that love travelling and were eager to share their experiences with more people. We wanted to show visitors to Tanzania that this country has so much more to offer than just the typical safari. Food, culture, music and community drive Tanzanian people and our goal is to help our guests integrate with this  local way of life.

A portion of all proceeds from our tours is reinvested into the local communities we are active in to help support families and protect the natural environment.
